Our Story
Two brothers with complimentary backgrounds in risk management and insurance decided that the time was right to bring a fresh approach to the insurance market.
They saw some commercial customers not being rewarded for their efforts in reducing risk. Their vision to "provide extensive risk management support for clients leading to reduced insurance costs" was brought to life through two key relationships.
The first was with a very well established, credible and highly experienced Lloyds broker. The second was through the investment provided through private equity partners who share a common ethos to “do the right thing” for our clients in the continuous pursuit of excellence.
With an extensive risk management network, supported by access to the Lloyds of London insurance market, we offer unrivalled service and access. With our focus on rewarding good risk management for all of our clients, we feel we have a compelling offer. Give us a call to find out more.
Our Team
Acurisk is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and is an Appointed Representative of Shepherd Compello, a fully accredited Lloyd’s Insurance Broker and Cover holder. We specialise in commercial insurance and guide our clients through the insurance market place, working together in partnership. We access the whole of the insurance market to get the best cover, pricing and wording for our clients.

Our Approach
We appoint a nominated Risk and Insurance Lead for each of our clients. We build relationships through face to face engagement, not just at renewal but throughout the year. In doing so, we can fully understand your specific challenges and ensure that you have the right insurance coverage in place and are presenting the very best picture to insurers. In the event that you need to make a claim, we support you throughout the process. We are here for you, each and every day.

Holly is the Chief Executive Officer for Shepherd Compello Broker & Cover holder, White Oak Underwriting Agency and EPG Global. Holly is a member of BIBA’s International and Wholesale Brokers’ Advisory Board and sits on the LIIBA Board. Her contributions to the insurance industry has seen her win multiple prestigious awards, including International Business Woman of the Year.

Lee is a Chartered Insurance Risk Manager and has Director level experience in a large PRA/FCA regulated firm. He brings experience at Board /CEO level, including advising Governments. He is a Non Executive Director of a major Private Medical Insurer and co chair of the Institute of Risk Management Chief Risk Officer / Non Executive Director Special Interest Group.

Paul is a highly experienced leader having managed high threat/high harm risk from both a military and policing perspective. He has held international policing roles for the United Nations/UK Govt. As the national terrorism insurance lead, Paul supported a major reinsurer develop and offer a Loss Mitigation product to the market.

Mark retired from the Army as a Lieutenant Colonel, having served in the R SIGNALS and Special Forces. He co-founded Ridgmont Holdings, holds an MSc in Design of Information Systems and an MA in Defence Studies, represents the Defence & Security Sector at the Chamber of Commerce, and is a keen martial artist.

Group Strategy Director for Vodafone PLC and advises International companies. Alan has a wealth of experience in technology companies and in leveraging finance to enable companies to grow.
